Transfer Press:
Our transfer presses, designed to enhance quality, operate using programmable stroke and slide velocity aided by servo motors, without energy loss. Used with servo driven transfer feeders, they are high-speed, efficient machines, giving high productivity and reliability, with low energy and maintenance costs.

Press transfer systems are designed for use in stepped work-piece transport in multi-stage forming presses. They can be used either with gripper rail or vacuum transfer devices. There are some die constraints with transfer presses, so it is essential to have a machine portfolio incorporating different types of technology.

Tandem Press Line:
Conventional manual tandem press lines provide high-precision and flexibility for production of pressed parts. In order to enhance productivity, it is necessary to install robot or linear transfer mechanisms to load blanks, handle parts between presses and to unload after the final process. We have a mix of manual and auto transfer press lines, to maintain a balance of high flexibility and high productivity.

Progressive Press:
Progressive stamping is ideal for small and medium parts, and can produce complex components, in a single press, at extremely high volume. A feeding system pushes a strip of metal (as it unrolls from a coil) through all of the stations of a progressive stamping die. Each station performs one or more operations until a finished part is made. The final station is a cutoff operation, which separates the finished part from the carrying web. With each stroke of the press, a completed part is removed from the die.

Robots:
AAPICO has increasingly incorporated the use of robots for parts handling, MIG/C02 and spot-welding operations in the past 3 years. These automated production solutions have helped enhance productivity and quality, together with providing a safer working environment for our factory personnel.
